I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Doha for Science and Technology. I'm currently an HR Intern at Hamad Medical Corporation, and the former Student Team Lead of the university's Academic Writing Center.
Dedicated, ambitious, and passionate. Excellent communication, ICT proficiency, research and writing, creativity, and team leadership are my biggest strengths that I employed in my academic journey 20 years in the making.
I've always been interested in people studies, aka social sciences, since I was young: history, psychology, sociology, politics, geography. As such, UDST's Human Resource Management program appealed to me as an exciting field to further explore people studies.Â
It is also in UDST where I took over the role of Student Team Lead for the Academic Writing Center for 3 fulfilling years. Through multiple campus connections, I became a contributor of 3 research projects and part of the first cohort of Talabat Summer Trainees. But this was only the beginning!
I gradually expanded my skillset through various hackathons like Qatar Innovation Program and LifeLines, creating digital solutions and building entrepreneurial capabilities that eventually culminated in my biggest and proudest work yet: Bud'Get (Get a Buddy, Get to Budget). This student-centered personal finance app is my capstone-turned-passion project that my team and I spent 7 months developing. We're currently working towards turning this business idea into a reality, so stay tuned!
When I'm not doing academic duties, I'm usually volunteering, cooking & baking, weightlifting at the gym, or spending quality time with loved ones. I recently picked up crochet as a small challenge to get back in touch with my creative soul. I read short fiction works and listen to music every single day. I don't get to travel much, but I love learning about local cultures and expanding my horizons.
