Innovative entrepreneurs .. Asma Mustafa, the teacher of English at Halima Al-Sadyya School applies quality initiatives in the areas of English language teaching, scientific research and school environment

Ibrahim Al-Muzaini - Asma Mustafa is exerting great efforts to enhance the educational process and improve performance in the school, through the implementation of three educational initiatives.

The first initiative entitled “Teaching English by educational games”, which included 45 educational games, innovative and developed ones to suit the teaching of English skills, and compiled in an educational book with explanations & pictures which is said to be a guide to the creative teacher.

She works through educational games to support students' self - confidence and abilities and discover their energies and linguistic abilities, and urged them to acquire creative thinking skills and enhance their abilities to search for information from multiple sources.

She links the curriculum to the students' real lives by relying on the fastest methods in delivering of information to students to remain in their long-term memory.

Mrs. Asma has innovated in the educational tools needed for the implementation of some educational games such as: (Television, Playing Cards, Blindfold, Water the Tree, Wristband, The Rolls, The English Dice… and many others), through which enhanced the ability of students to perform all language skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing creative and English grammar, which led to improved performance of students in the language and accuracy of pronunciation and raise the proportion of academic achievement.

The teacher relied on the diversity in employing the educational game so that it is suitable for teaching all language skills such as writing, reading, grammar, listening, conversation, vocabulary of the new language and sub-skills as well. , Close the lesson, and there are also some innovative games to mobilize additional activity time in a class and develop language skills in general.

Mrs. Asma applied many lessons outside the classroom as she believes in "Apply to Learn" where she carried out trips to parks and playgrounds to talk about what was going on there in English.

Asma's second initiative is entitled with "My school is my Paradise" through the drawing of murals, including paintings that address students with pictures and scenic landscapes as well.

Asma spreads the positive energy through the drawings on the school facilities, where she drew the talent tree and she added her students' drawings on its branches, the paintings of talented students are displayed monthly to encourage them and their interest in the abilities and talents and development.

Her third initiative is entitled with"Towards a distinguished scientific researcher generation" where it relied on the use of technology in scientific research , especially the use of some smart phone applications and internet to obtain information easily and fast as much as possible.

The result of this initiative was to come up with a linguistic dictionary for the eighth grade and compile it into a book for all the methodological words in the hands of the students all over Gaza Strip schools.

Asma Mustafa has designed her website and created her educational channel on YouTube to follow up all the new by students and their families and seekers of knowledge in general.

In this context, the headmistress of the school Mrs. Faten Abu Al-Kass confirms that Mrs. Asma is a qualitative addition to the school Halima Saadia where she conveyed good experience and spreads the positive energy with her innovative games all over Gaza Strip and inspired her classmates towards creativity in various subjects.
