VERBELE STATICE

STATIVE VERBS

- sunt verbe care exprimă stări, nu acțiuni (nu sunt dinamice)

- nu se folosesc la aspectul continuu (Present Continuous, Past Continuous etc)

- ele se împart în mai multe categorii, în funcție de asemănări; eu am ales să-mi fac propriile categorii de verbe, în:

1. VERBE FACEBOOK :

like, dislike, love, hate, adore, loathe (a disprețui), want, wish, need, prefer

2. VERBE DE PERCEPȚIE :

seem ( a părea), mean, realize, notice, recognise

3. VERBE DE GÂNDIRE :

know, understand, remember, forget, forgive, believe

4. VERBE DE PROPRIETATE:

own, belong, contain (a conține), owe (a datora), cost

eg. I do not know what you are talking about. ( Nu știu despre ce vorbești.)

I do not understand what you mean. (Nu înțeleg ce vrei să spui.)

I. Put the verbs in the Simple or Continuous Present:
