For this Project I was required to research an emerging technology that is being researched and implemented that will create large changes within the next 5-10 years. I chose the gene editing technology CRISPR, which has been used to incredible effect in modifying DNA in a myriad of fields, from agriculture to medicine. I created and presented a PowerPoint on all of the research that I found for CRISPR in a precise and aesthetically pleasing manner, making sure to follow the 6x6 rule as best I could. 

For this Project I learned that I need to create a proper script for a PowerPoint presentation, and that just winging it will make the quality much worse than I would like. Making PowerPoints are a lot more fun than I remember them being during prior schooling, and I think that is because of the SIMpaths that actually require you to go through and learn different aspects of the program, instead of just being thrown to the wolves. I also learned about CRISPR in a deeper manner, and cleared up some confusion I had about what it was and how it was implemented. Overall I'm happy with how it came out as I'm someone who is challenged when it comes to design and other artistic endeavors.
