Unit 1 was full of interactive assignments and information about online resources. We learned about AI and how to use it responsibly, as well as the parts of a computer, how to share files, and all about the internet.
Using AI does not automatically mean you're cheating (unlike what my high school teachers tried to tell us). It can be used to provide clarity when something just doesn't click. You can even use it to help you find recipes with the food in your fridge!
I can tell fact from fiction pretty well, but I struggle to know real from fake when it comes to online posts
Reading a URL is important before you click on it. You can easily get scammed if you get sent an email claiming to be an official page but the URL shows otherwise
How to set up a cloud folder that organizes my files
I started to get very behind in Unit 1. This has helped me change the way I look at assignments. Starting an assignment with the expectation of finishing it in one sitting often results in me struggling to start it. But if I treat a start as a start or think of it as a rough draft, it helps take majority of the weight off.
