Living Discipleship Through Time, Talent, and Treasure
For the Ministry of the St. John of the Cross Catholic Cluster and the Christian Life Center (CLC), stewardship is the heart of parish life. It is a way of living our faith by offering our time, talent, and treasure in gratitude to God and in service to His Church.
At CLC and throughout the St. John of the Cross Cluster, stewardship is not only about giving—it is about belonging, relationship, and mission. Every parishioner is invited to participate actively in the life of the Church through prayer, service, generosity, and fellowship.
Catholic stewardship means recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and responding with faith-filled generosity. As Scripture teaches,
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace" (1 Peter 4:10).
Stewardship at the Christian Life Center (CLC) and in our parishes calls each member to:
Grow spiritually through prayer and the sacraments
Serve with personal gifts and talents
Support the Church financially through offertory and appeals
Build relationships in parish fellowship
Participate in formation, outreach, and evangelization
Through stewardship, discipleship becomes a daily lifestyle.
Your generosity supports every aspect of parish and ministry life at St. John of the Cross Cluster and CLC, including:
Weekly Parish Offertory
Catholic Appeal and Diocesan Mission Support
Second Collections for special ministries
Parish Capital Campaigns and facility care
Community Charities and Outreach Programs
Faith Formation and School of Faith at CLC
Sacramental Life and Pastoral Care
Marriage Preparation and Family Ministries
Youth and Homeschool Children Programs
Each gift helps proclaim the Gospel, form disciples, and care for God’s people.
Stewardship is not a program—it is a spiritual attitude and lifestyle. It grows through fellowship and relationship. When we pray together, learn together, and serve together, we become the Church Christ desires.
The early Church modeled this life:
"They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the communal life, the breaking of bread, and the prayers" (Acts 2:42).
At the Christian Life Center, stewardship connects worship, learning, and community into one mission of love.
We invite every parishioner and visitor to:
Register with the parish community
Join a ministry or volunteer team
Attend formation programs at CLC
Participate in the School of Faith
Support the parish through regular giving
Share your talents and life experience
Whether you are new to the parish or a longtime member, your presence and participation matter.
Your stewardship sustains the ministries of St. John of the Cross Cluster and the Christian Life Center (CLC). Through your offerings, prayer, and service, Christ is made visible in our community.
"Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).
