About Sean Howard
Hello! I am so happy to work with you in your calling in seminaries and institutes!
First off, I would love to be your new friend. I am your S&I coordinator, I have taught early morning seminary, release time seminary, online seminary and institute classes for over 14 years and have helped administer S&I programs as a prncipal/coordinator in 5 seminaries and served over 15 stakes in Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. My goal is to help provide the best possible seminary & institute experiences possible and to be your biggest cheerleader and helper in your calling.
Before working for seminaries and institutes I was a high school spanish and science teacher for 5 years. During that time I loved coaching high school basketball, soccer and pole vault. During my high school teaching I was honored to serve on the American Chemical Society National Teacher Advisory Board.
I earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish Education with a minor in Chemistry from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwest Nazarene University.
My hobbies include pickleball, hiking/backpacking, kayaking, playing board games, and cheering on college athletes/teams. I really love to do anything outdoorsy with my wife, 4 kiddos and friends.
