Welcome to the Los Santos Police Department’s K9 Division official page. As the K9 Commander, I am honored to lead this incredible team of handlers and their loyal K9 partners. The Los Santos Police Department K9 Division is committed to excellence in law enforcement, including narcotics detection, search and rescue, and suspect apprehension. Our highly trained K9 units undergo rigorous training to meet the highest of standards. They are not just trained dogs, they are heroes. We take immense pride in the work we do and the lives we save. Our mission is to serve and protect with Honor, Courage, Discipline, Professionalism, and Dedication, and most importantly, be one of the many advantageous tools that patrol officers use to protect our community.
Signed,

The primary role of the LSPD K9 Division is to offer support services to the Uniform Patrol Division and our public safety partners. K9 Officers will commonly respond to alarm activations, requests for vehicle and property sniffs and searches, track fleeing suspects, and aid in search and rescue operations.
K9 Officers with the Los Santos Police Department are certified through the American Police Work Dog Association and the San Andreas Police Work Dog Association. The dogs are certified in several aspects of K9 work, including obedience, tracking, building searches, free air vehicle sniffs, article/evidence searches, agility, aggression control, and narcotics detection.
