K9 Division
The objective of the Los Santos Police Department K9 Division is to support patrol units and their activities in, but not limited to, the city of Los Santos. K9 reaches this goal by responding to calls for service and proactively patrolling the city. Using a vast network of available resources, it is K9's goal to track, search, and identify people, narcotics, guns, and explosives.
The Los Santos Police Department K9 Division is currently lead by K9 Assistant Commander Corbin Mors (DSN: 1267).
The primary role of the LSPD K9 Division is to offer support services to the Uniform Patrol Division and our public safety partners. K9 Officers will commonly respond to alarm activations, requests for vehicle and property sniffs and searches, track fleeing suspects, and aid in search and rescue operations.
K9 Officers with the Los Santos Police Department are certified through the American Police Work Dog Association and the San Andreas Police Work Dog Association. The dogs are certified in several aspects of K9 work, including obedience, tracking, building searches, free air vehicle sniffs, article/evidence searches, agility, aggression control, and narcotics detection.
