Senior Spotlights

Chance is a second year varsity starter. He has played outside hitter for the mustangs all four years. He had a super successful junior year collecting 288 kills and 167 digs and 37 Aces, he also made All League First Team and The Press-Enterprise All Area Second Team. Congrats Chance on all of your accomplishments.

My favorite volleyball memory is when I had 23 kills in 3 sets against Norco my junior year.

My favorite quote is "The best revenge is massive success."- Frank Sinatra

My favorite teacher is Ms. Der

My advice to future athletes is give 100% and don't ever let someone make you second guess yourself. Follow your passion in the face of adversity. Be humble off the court, not on the court.


Cade Meza is three year varsity starter. He has played  Libero, Defensive Specialist and Middle Blocker for the Mustangs these past four years. Cade was named All League First Team as a sophomore and All League Second Team his junior year. Cade finished with 411 digs his sophomore year and picked up where he left off his junior year with 334 digs and 22 aces.


Favorite Memory: Team dinners/first time trying sushi in Vegas

Noah Lumbris is a first year varsity player. He has played outside hitter and middle blocker for the Mustangs these past three years. 


Favorite memory: Going to vegas 

Favorite teacher: Mr. Chen

Matthew Tsang is a first year varsity player. He has played setter for the mustangs these past three years.

Advice: As long as you have confidence in your self, you will succeed.


Thaddeus Nguyen is a two year varsity player. He has played middle blocker for the Mustangs these past four years. 


Favorite Memory: Hanging out at San Diego with the boys.

Favorite Quote: ”Escape the ordinary, pursue the purpose.”

Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Quinonez/Hernandez 

Advice: Have fun but don’t take your time for granted, put in work.


Thomas Kendig is a three year varsity starter. He has been a successful outside hitter for the mustangs the past four years. Thomas was All League Second Team his sophomore year and All League First Team his junior year, as well as being named to the Press-Enterprise All Area First Team. He accumulated 342 Kills, 115 Digs and 44 Aces during that season.

Favorite memory: Our team going undefeated in league last year and this year.

Favorite quote: “If you're not first you're last.”

Favorite teacher: Mr Gilbert

Advice: Play with no regret.


Justin Lee is a first year varsity player. He has played middle blocker for the mustangs the past three years.  


Favorite Memory: Sophomore year Jv team dinners

Favorite Teacher: Ms Renteria 

Advice: Stay positive and never give up

Shaun Barksdale is a first year varsity player. He has played outside, defensive specialist and opposite for the past three years as a mustang. He is an energetic and nothing hits the floor type of athlete.

Advice : Practice is a place to get better. Don't be afraid to try new things.

Jimmy Jin served as one of our captains and is a three year varsity starter. He has played libero, defensive specialist and middle blocker for the Mustangs these past four years. Jimmy was named to the All League Second Team his junior year. He accumulated 277 digs and 10 aces during that season. Jimmy is the kind of athlete that leads by example. Congrats Jimmy on all of your accomplishments. 


Favorite Memory: Going to the beach after the San Diego tournament.

Advice: Don’t take things too seriously.



Daniel Joseph served as one of our captains this year and is also a three year varsity starter. He has played setter for the Mustangs for the past four years. Daniel was named All League First Team both his sophomore and junior years. He was also selected as the BigVlll League MVP his junior year as well as being named to the Press-Enterprise All Area First Team. One of Daniel’s highlight was accumulating over a thousand assist in a single season.


Favorite Volleyball Memory: Going undefeated to win our first league title.

Favorite teachers: Mr Cummings & Mr Robinson

Advice: Work hard and it'll be evident on the court.
