Australia Day Award

Muslim Students' Society, Southern Cross University (MuSt society, SCU) helped the SCU students and local community members during COVID-19 pandemic, during the floods at 2017 and 2022. Before that its members volunteered during bushfire, helped the students and community members to settle in Lismore, find accommodation, foods etc., it founded a kids book and toy library in campus, got its members trained on first aid so that they can serve in emergency and other needs. These works together were awarded the 2020 Australia Day Awards.
