Here at Music Without Borders, we offer professional music instruction on any instrument your heart desires. We offer a variety of services suited to meet all skill and interest levels.

Born in Vancouver BC, Adam Turpin has grown up surrounded by music his entire life, and is someone who fully understands the importance of the presence of music in someone’s life. Growing up with a learning disability, Adam was placed into private music lessons at an early age, and fell in love with the art from the very start. Adam was deeply devoted to music all through his young years, being a member of his high school choir, a sax player in the band, and was even a private music teacher.

Adam is a graduate of Capilano University (2008), and UBC (BMus 2013, Bed 2014). As a performer, he has travelled to Europe on two choir tours, performed for the Dali Lama, been the featured soloist in countless choir performances, and performed the part of Avram in RCMT’s production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2016. He has been the section leader in numerous choirs, and has acted as a leader to countless singers and conductors. As an educator, Adam has 10+ years of experience in the public school system teaching music at both the elementary and secondary levels. He has conducted numerous choirs, and prefers teaching singing and the art of the voice (when you hear his singing and speaking voices, you’ll understand why). Adam has a heart for both music and education, and has always had a passion to make music accessible for anyone who wishes to pursue it. He has worked with organizations that strive to make music accessible to any student, and through his networking, has grown to learn players, teachers, and professional performers who play any instrument. Adam is excited to take this business venture to the next level and is very excited to work with whoever shows an interest in music.
