This song might be particularly suited for Pride celebrations. The original was written as a hymn but this version could easily be used outside of a church context. The revised words were provided by David-Roger Gagnon and Roger Geroux. They prepared the new words for a Pride celebration knowing that the religious symbolism in the original words was triggering for some of their choir members.
