What's a Student Learning Outcome?

Student Learning Outcomes are statements of the knowledge, skills and abilities individual students should possess and can demonstrate on completion of a series of learning experiences. Basically, the information that you take away from this course.

Upon successfully completing this course, the Student Learning Outcomes state that you should be able to:

1. Analyze and describe processes and techniques used in working with a Digital Audio Workstation that is MIDI capable.

2. Define vocabulary used in working with a Digital Audio Workstation that is MIDI capable.

3. Demonstrate and apply processes and techniques used in working with a Digital Audio Workstation that is MIDI capable.

4. Identify music, composers and trends throughout the history of electronic music.

Do the work:

  • meet your deadlines
  • understand project parameters/required deliverables: be aware of your audience
  • listen to feedback

  • reply to emails--use salutations, express gratitude, and sign your name!!
