Murrays Beach is a unique bushland suburb surrounded by nature at her unspoiled best.
Located on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest coastal salt-water lake, it offers the character of a lakeside village coupled with the lifestyle of a modern community.
During the extensive planning period, sustainability was at the fore-front, so as much bushland as possible throughout the area is maintained to benefit local wildlife, habitat trees preserved and strategically placed bushland corridors retained to maintain the exceptional natural environment.
With over 70 hectares of landscaped open spaces including picnic spots, barbecue areas and playgrounds. Not to mention walkways and bike paths through bushland pathways that offer immediate access to the lake and connectivity to Wallarah National Park, you'll find many options to make the most of the environment.
Murrays Beach operates under a Community Scheme which allows the Murrays Beach Community to independently own and Maintain Community Association Property. These assets include the village green, pool and the numerous riparian corridors, fire trail's and integrated bush track network. The Community Management Statement (CMS) outlines the by-laws which relate to Murrays Beach and that regulate the management and operation of the Community Scheme. They have been developed to maintain the integrity and character of Murrays Beach. Residents are strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves with this document. A copy of the CMS and an edited version that just contains the By-laws are available under Document/Community.
The Community Association is managed by an Committee elected annually. Each Lot owner is a member of the Community Association.
