The 2024-25 school year was Muncie Central High School Writing Center’s second year of operation. Its center operates within a class (a creative writing elective); however, in the future, the directors hope tutors will be able to work as a writing center intern for course credits/payment. The writing center held several well-attended open-mic events for the school. MCHS Writing Center participated in Peer Tutoring Day and one of its 9th grade tutors won the MLK Day Essay Contest.
