Students were asked to evaluate the sources of a news story before the beginning of the first lesson. They were asked again at the end of the last lesson to evaluate a set of sources. Each evaluation was assessed using the same rubric and the results were positive.
Overall, students' ability to evaluate sources according to the objectives set in this program increased by 32.5%. Progress in their use of the concepts and tools taught as part of this project are as follows.
