This workshop was conducted by two renowned psychiatrists Dr. Washdev Amar, Head of the Psychiatry Department, at Civil Hospital, and Dr. Shifa Naeem, Mental Health Expert. The insightful discussion delves deep into the brain's role in resilience and addiction, the effect of support and social bonding in the prevention of addiction, and in building resilience.

Dr. Syeda Sadaf Akber, the Dean of the Faculty of Science at Malir University of Science and Technology, was invited as a keynote speaker at a symposium entitled "One Humanity, Many Genomics" on International DNA Day at the Biomedical Engineering Department of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), in collaboration with PASTIC Sub Centre Karachi.
