MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 

The Kentucky District Church of the Nazarene is again working with the SOAP Project to fight the evil of human trafficking.   Both youth and adult volunteers are needed to be part of the MtownNAZ's team.

The event will be held  on 4/13 at 10:00 a.m. at  Farmdale Church of the Nazarene, 6501 Vandre Ave Louisville, KY 40228.

The goal is to provide rescue information to hotels so it is accessible to those who are being trafficked.  Previous events have resulted in rescues. 

Agenda:

10:00am- Arrival, Registration and Grab-N-Go Breakfast

10:30am -Training on how to recognize the signs of trafficking and what to say to the hotels.

11:15am-Label soap and wipes, pack up supplies for distribution.

12:15pm- Load up and head out to the hotels with the supplies.

Training appropriate for middle school and older.

Must be 16 or older to go to the hotels with an adult.

3. Begin to pray for those being trafficked.  It's one thing to be rescued from trafficking but greater still for these individuals to recognize the hand of God in their lives and receive his salvation.
