What is Mid-Week Community Gathering

Comunity Gathering is what we call our mid-week Bible learning opportunity.

MtownNAZ meets in community on Wednesday evenings.  This is an intergenerational gathering. We meet in what we call our community room located in the basement of the church. With the exception of the toddlers all ages meet together. The atmosphere is lain-back with everyone seated informally around tables.  A play area is available in the gathering room.

A lite supper is served at 6:00 p.m.

Then at 6:30 we begin with a time of acoustic worship led by our pastor and a guitar.  The songs are projected overhead on a TV screen.

The Bible learning time that follows is formatted so that everyone from children to the elders can participate.  The toddlers however have their own activity.   During the summer we often do a book study together and offer an alternate activity for children.

We encourage people to come, as they are and be prepared to laugh and have fun.  If you know a good clean joke, we'd love to hear it.
