You will need to decide what method you want to use for imaging and the process to bring it into animation.
This will be decided based on your benchmarks and what you already are familiar with.
You may use Photoshop, Illustrator or Animate to create your images.
You can also use other tools such as photos that are brought into PSD to alter and resize.
Once you have your method decided, your professor can work with you directly to determine what tutorials to share. Please request tutorials as you need them.
Sketch ideas
Sketch one panel of a scene leaving room for text, UI, and it also needs to be device agnostic - so adding your sketch into Zapworks can be helpful. Starting with a small iPhone will also help since that is the smallest and hardest size to work with. Zapworks will scale up your images as needed for each device.
Storyboard full animation
Create one panel in the style of the animation - this allows us to test the process
Create all assets needed for full animation
Rig each Asset
Hand over to animation team (maybe that is you)
Correct and make more assets as needed
Here is a review of the stage: creating one panel in the style of the animation. This may be helpful to hear Professor Bonner's feedback to other students and the full process.Â
