I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology - Sport Psychology and Leadership in 2022, and have decided to return to continue my education in the Single-Subject Credential Physical Education program with an Added Authorization in Adapted Physical Education! My purpose for teaching is to create a safe and positive environment for students with all abilities to learn about physical education and the importance of being physically active. I believe kids should understand their bodies and learn how they can keep themselves healthy and strong, and I want to teach them about body positivity and healthy and unhealthy ways to take care of themselves. I hope that my students will feel comfortable and welcome in my classroom and that I can be a positive role model for them. I want to help students with all kinds of abilities and backgrounds enjoy physical education.
Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family, read, and go to Disneyland! I have an annual pass to Disneyland and I love to go with my friends after school. I also love playing tennis. I grew up playing with my family and played competitively when I was in middle school, and now I try to get out as much as possible to play with friends! I also enjoy hanging out with my family dogs, Molli and Mocha, and my cat Luna.
