For 27 years she works in tourism. Magdalena has been a certified professional guide for Kraków area, as well other parts of Poland. She speaks fluent French.
Magda is a member of the Society of Friends of Kraków History and Heritage.
Also since 2008 she is member of Genealogical Society of Małopolska (MTG).
She was main coordinator of the Lviv Archdiocese indexing project for FamilySearch and MTG during 2011-2018.
Her speciality is genealogy research in Galicia. She also conducts the research in Russian, Belarusian, French and Swiss archives and libraries.
Magda wrote many articles regarding Brzesko area, which were published at www.brzesko.ws
In 2017, Philippe Labro published book „Ma mere, cette inconnue”, written based on the genealogical research conducted during few years by Magdalena.
Based on eight years long research conducted by Magdalena, in more than 20 archives on four continents, Monika Braun's book titled "Migraine" is ready for purchase in Polish bookstores since 22 October 2021.
Additionally, she gave a few interviews to Gazeta Wyborcza, Dobre Rady in 2011 and More Maiorum in 2017.
She often presents at various genealogical conferences and meetings. Among others, she was one of first speakers at first Genealogical National Conference in Brzeg, where she spoke about using non-metrical resources to support ancestral research in Galicia.
