Teaching Philosophy

Not every child learns the same way, so it is essential that I make sure each of my students is growing socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically. I will make sure to build relationships with each of my students because I want to create a safe and fun environment for all students to reach their full potential. I will make sure I am using a variety of different teaching strategies in order to reach each of my student's learning styles. I believe students should stay curious about the world around them. I will make sure to provide the curriculum in a hands-on, engaging way that allows each student to participate in a comfortable way.

Section 1: Purpose of Schooling

I believe the purpose of schooling is that education and learning are lifelong pursuits essential for personal growth and societal advancement. Education should empower individuals to navigate complexities, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to an ever-evolving world.

Section 2: Personal Values

Some of my personal values are integrity, empathy, and trust. In essence, my values guide me to be an inspiring, empathetic, and effective educator who not only imparts knowledge but also shapes the character and future of my students.

Section 3: Beliefs about the nature of children

I believe that effective student learning involves active engagement through hands-on activities. The nature of children is they are naturally innocent and creative, but they also need instruction and nurturing to grow into well-rounded people.

Section 4: Role of the teacher

The role of the teacher is to create a safe and inclusive environment, inspiring and motivating students. I believe that teachers play a fundamental role in shaping students' academic growth, character development, and preparation for a successful future in society.

Section 5: Beliefs about the curriculum

I believe that the classroom curriculum should be a well-rounded, flexible framework designed to empower students with a diverse skill set and knowledge base. An ideal curriculum should prepare students not only for academic success but also prepare them for the real world.
