ASTRA is a student organization at the University of Bonn that explores the political, strategic, legal, economic, and technological dimensions of space. Bonn International Model United Nations (BIMUN) is a student organization at the University of Bonn that promotes understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the work of the United Nations through experiential learning. Its flagship activity is an annual Model United Nations conference (typically held during the winter term), where students represent countries, negotiate international issues, and draft resolutions in simulated UN committees. In addition to the conference, BIMUN hosts lectures, workshops, and social events that help students develop their public speaking, negotiation, research, and leadership skills while connecting with an international community of peers interested in global affairs. The Bonner Hochschulgruppe für Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik (BHAS) is a student organization at the University of Bonn dedicated to promoting discussion and understanding of international affairs, foreign policy, and security issues. The group organizes public lectures, expert panels, workshops, simulations, and networking events that bring together students with academics, policymakers, military practitioners, and other professionals. As part of the national Bundesverband Sicherheitspolitik an Hochschulen (BSH), BHAS provides students with opportunities to deepen their knowledge of contemporary security challenges, engage in informed debate, and build connections within Germany's foreign and security policy community. The Junge GSP (Young GSP) is the youth organization of the German Society for Security Policy (Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik, GSP). It brings together young people—primarily between the ages of 16 and 35—who are interested in foreign, security, and defense policy. Established to strengthen youth engagement within the GSP, the organization provides a non-partisan forum for learning, discussion, and networking on contemporary security issues.
