Academic Posters

I chose to hang this poster in my classroom because a majority of the work we will do in class involves reading. Therefore my goal is to express the importance of reading and the benefits we get from it. This hanging is a subtle way to remind the students of the importance of literature and help them grow a love for the activity.

Classroom Management Hangings

In correlation to our morning routine, this is an example of what our classroom jobs hanging would look like. Not only is this a reminder to the students of their weekly responsibilities, but it is also a great way to get to learn peers' names at the beginning of the school year. This poster helps keep our classroom organized and united. Seeing this poster is a reminder that the people in the classroom are your team that you can work with to accomplish anything.

Community Building Posters

I chose to hang this poster in my classroom to embrace student confidence. I believe that each student should be reminded of how unique and special they are and use their interests to promote their differences. In addition, this poster ties the classroom together by showing how each of us can work and exist together in the classroom. It reiterates the fact that each one of us is there for a purpose.
