Teacher Accountability

I believe that in a classroom the teacher should have eyes on their students at all times. This is an ideology referred to as "withitness". In doing so, it can lead to preventing misbehaviors in the environment and keeping all students in a healthy, academic-focused, environment.

Positive Reinforcement

Positive reinforcement in the classroom is very important. It leads to increased levels of student confidence, as well as higher motivation levels in the children. This ideology rewards children for outstanding work, achievements, and behaviors in the classroom.

Classroom Community

An efficient classroom has a strong classroom community. Interactions and healthy relationships between their peers and teachers make for an effective and happy learning environment. Classrooms such as these create an excitement to attend class as well as participate in learning activities. Learning is fun, and that is what I want to stress to my students!
