Biology Course Information & Expectations
Course Description: Students will be introduced to the scientific study of living things. Main topics include: life processes, cells, genetics, evolution, and ecology. Students will be exposed to various methods of learning: lectures, discussions, cooperative learning, laboratory experiments, and group projects.
Arizona Residents: This course satisfices the science lab requirements for state universities.
Course Materials: Please bring required materials with you to class every day and be mentally prepared to participate. It is highly recommended that each student have the following materials:
1 Composition Notebook (100 sheets, 200 pages)
Pencils
Students may complete projects throughout the semester, therefore, colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, etc. may be necessary.
