Reading in Our Classroom

In Nursery and Kindergarten, reading is brought to life through stories, songs, rhymes, and shared books every day! We focus on building a love for reading while helping children develop early literacy skills such as recognizing letters, hearing sounds, and understanding that words carry meaning. 

Reading together at home is one of the best ways to support your child’s language growth. Children who are read to daily are exposed to up to one million more words each year than those who aren’t. Try making reading a special part of your daily routine, even 10–15 minutes a day makes a big difference!
