In my classroom I want it to be the most welcoming classroom for each and every one of my students to be able to come to me about anything they feel comfortable with sharing. I want my classroom to be a safe place for each of students to be able to gain new knowledge from me as their teacher. In my classroom, I will take classroom management very seriously to teach my students that being disciplined does not mean that I do not like them, it means that I care about them and want them to be successful in their daily choices rather that be in the classroom or in everday life. Recognizing diversity in my classroom is a very special thing to me. I will make sure that in my classroom, diversity will be met by me focusing on the needs and abilities of each of my students are being met; so that I incoporate cultural and social differences around us. This way every student feels welcome in my classroom. The constructivism in my classroom will be based on me allowing my students to use hands-on, questioning, and their interests to allow each student to learn the best by making connections with the material I teach in my classroom. My classroom will involve activities that are based on my students interests and to build problem-solving skills that will benefit them for the future.
