Plagiarism is an unlawful act of copying another individuals work and making it seem as if it is your own.
Plagiarism is based on a student copying others work to receive credit. It is never okay to copy someone else’s work they have created. When we plagiarize, this can be copy and pasting work, using older work we have already created, and using online apps to help us finish our homework.
Some ways to avoid plagiarism include:
Citing sources if we get information from a specific website.
Write your own beliefs from scratch, instead of copying others ideas from the internet or your classmates
Use paraphrasing or summarizing if you are using information from the internet.
