When is the best time to contact you? The best time to contact me would be slightly before school hours at around 7:30 a.m. to after school hours at 5:00 p.m. I check my emails at least once a day and it should not take me longer than a day to respond when contacted in the hours provided!
What to do when you know in advance a child will miss? Please feel free to contact me if you have plans that will cause a child to miss. I can give them work we have already covered before the trip, and try to plan tests and such around it.
Where can I check my child’s grades? Most, if not all, grades will be posted on Google Classroom.
How do I volunteer for classroom/school activities? Contact me or the school's main office to volunteer for events.

Do we provide after-school care? Yes, please contact the school's front office to receive more information about the after-school program.
How do I schedule a meeting? You can contact me through email to set up a meeting.
How many unexcused absences can I have? I can have up to ten unexcused absences though I do not recommend it.
Are there any extracurricular activities my child can participate in? Yes! Who your child will need to get in contact with will depend on the activity they are trying to do, but if I am made aware I will help the child to the proper people.
What if my child needs medication during school? This will need to be brought forth in a meeting with the nurse, teacher, and principal. After this, your child will be able to go to the nurse as needed to take their medicine.
Will my child be expected to do online assignments at home? No. I understand not everyone is in a position where they can do online assignments at home. We will do online projects during class time.
How can parents stay informed on school events? Parents can stay informed many ways, but I highly recommend checking out the school's website or Facebook page when looking for upcoming events. Of course, the monthly newsletter will include them as well.
Can I join my student for lunch time? Yes, just make sure you sign in at the front before entering the lunchroom.
