How have your thoughts about presentations changed from slide 1 to now?
I thought more about adding more images and less words, I never really thought about how much more interesting it is when you have to guess what is coming next. With the animation feature I can make it more inclusive for students, for example, before telling the students my favorite color, I might have them turn and talk about their favorite color.
How do presentations fit into your teaching style, content area, and grade level? What modifications do you need to make for your students (level, needs, languages, etc.)?
I think that for 1st grade I would have to make it more interactive, more turns and talks and more activities. I might use some memes to make it more fun. I think that I can make it super fun just again with that animation feature, maybe if we are playing guess my number they can click on a number and it can either give them a red x or a green circle.
What are three things you learned about presentations that you will share with someone and who will share them with?
I learned to always use pictures, don’t put too many words on your slide and use animation
