Hello! My name is Ms. Shay! I am your scholars first grade teacher! Here are some things for you to know about me! When I graduated high school, I wanted to take a gap year because I did not know what major to pick. I ended up working at a daycare and there I found my love for teaching! I was a lead toddler teacher (13mo-24mo) for two years before becoming a reading tutor. I was in a first grade classroom as reading tutor and there I decided to become a first grade teacher! I still work at the same daycare today, along with the tutor job and in my free time I study Elementry Education at North Hennepin Community College! Here are some more things about me
