What does a digital footprint look like in your ideal content area or grade level? What would you teach your students about this? Keep in mind their age and ability level when thinking about how you talk about this with students.
I think in 1st grade it would look like not entering your first and last name on any sites. I would want my students to know as 1st graders that what they choose to post will be there forever. I would explain to them that they have to be very careful if they have access to tik tok, youtube, or any other social media.
How can you implement digital safety and citizenships with your ideal content area or grade level? Create a list of 3-5 concrete steps you would take with your students to ensure their success with technology.

Give a rundown on how to use the technology
Let the students make something of their own using technology
