Part 2: Reflect
In one long paragraph, describe the benefits and drawbacks of generative AI in teaching, how it affects students and learning, and what role it will or will not play in your future teaching career for teaching and for students.
I think that some of the benefits of AI when it comes to teaching is that it can take stress off your shoulders, for example, instead of taking the time to figure out how to write an email that's both kind and strict to a parent you can have AI create a prompt. You could also have AI support you with making lesson plans, rubrics, and assessment. AI can help get your brain started and you can tweak it to fit yourself. I think that when it comes to drawbacks, there really is only one and that is that it can be used as a cheating tool for students. Fortunately, there are apps, like the one associated with Khan Academy, this AI is regulated, it flags inappropriate content and can only help you, it won't write assignments. I think that having the knowledge of how to use AI then you can make it resourceful and safe.
