Literature is so important in student's lives and in our classroom. Reading is a skill that is required throughout your school career and into adulthood. Even if reading is not something you enjoy to do during your free time, you still use it throughout your day. Reading is very important because it sets the foundation for skills you will learn your whole life. Having good literature to read is just as important. Good literature allows students to be interested in reading and want to do it. If there were only boring books that covered the same topics, students would not be interested and would get bored pretty quickly. Reading can be fun if you have the right book for you!
