Food Insecurity

Food Insecurity is the condition of not having enough for or an adequate source of food. Food insecurity is a problem throughout the world, United States, and in our own community. There are many children and families that suffer with the problem of not having enough to eat every day or a healthy source for food. In our local community, there are many people that live in food deserts. Food deserts are places were is it difficult to buy affordable or good quality food. Since, many people in our area live in food deserts this only contributes to the problem of food insecurity because many people do not have access to receive food.
