Mental health is not always a subject so easily spoken about. It may be hard to cope with feelings and emotions that you may not quite understand. Mental health awareness makes an effort to bring light to issues that affect everyone. Mental illnesses can include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and so many other things. Other times, mental illness is not a factor but we still struggle to recover mentally in a healthy way. Knowing about mental health not only allows you to understand what you are going through, but it can also allow people around you to know how to help you.
There are many natural ways to make sure you are looking out for your mental health. What I always start with is eating well-balanced and healthy foods. Our physical and mental health work hand-in-hand so we need to look out for both. Staying active also helps me keep a postive mental health. Working out boosts seratonin and again works with your physical health to make you feel like a better version of yourself. It is also a way for me to listen to music and let out aggression in a healthy way. Dealing with the feelings that you have is the easiest way to get rid of those feelings. Lastly, I always call a friend if I ever feel my mental health getting bad. My friends always know what to say or do to make me feel better.
