FAQ

1. The class I wanted is Full...now what? 

Starting Summer 2025, 10th -12th High School Early College Students Can Waitlist for Course if avaliable. Althought not a guarantee in a course students can waitlist to see if other students drop the course up until the day classes start. We recommend Students utilize Course selection(s) on Permission form to have the most opportunities. If you have further questions please email me: alopez62@ohlone.edu

2. I turned in my CCCapply Application but missed the Permission form deadline?

   • Unfortunately, if a student does not submit the a OpenCCCapply application + and Permission form the student cannot be eligible for an Early College Course.  You may register for the next upcoming semester

3. I turned in my CCCapply Application and Permission form with my parents and I signature by the deadline but my Principal still has not signed.

As long as you and your parent signed the permission form by the deadline Ohlone will still accept the Principals Signature when it arrives. However, we recommend you turn in your application at least 2 weeks before the deadline to ensure you're processed as it can take the school up to 10 days of processing once the permission form is turned in. 

4. My Principal has not signed my permission form yet.

Your princpal is very busy. I recommend emailing the principal a friendly reminder if you have not got a signature within 5 business days. I cannot email the principal for you. 

5.  I can't register for my Early College class? 

Please make sure you have reviewed the Early College flyer to understand the days high school students can register. It is recommend you complete all the steps to be best preapred for registeration. Registration occurs on a specific day for all high school students based on grade level.. If registration has opened please make sure you compeleted the steps below: 

3. • Have you received your welcome email with your Ohlone ID#? Check your personal and school email regarding the next steps

   • Have you created your Myohlone Account and Student email? 

   • Have you taken the self-placement? It takes 3-5 days for the placement to reflect into your account. 

   • Are you trying to register for a course that is full? check how to read the class availability here 

   • Have your signed the course agreements? 

   • Are you registering for a course over the cap limit? 

   • Are you trying to regsiter for a course with a pre-req?
