Parents: Here you can find information and websites to help you help your child do well at McKinley Middle Magnet.
Google Classroom: All of the assignments done in Advanced World History will be posted in Google Classroom, with the exception of some small assignments such as BellRingers, etc. Also, grades will be updated on Google Classroom.
Although parents cannot login to Google Classroom, you can receive updates about your child's progress within Google Classroom. I will link your email to your child's account, and Google Classroom will send you an invitation in which you can opt how often to receive updates about your child's progress in Google Classroom. PLEASE CHOOSE DAILY UPDATES. It is the best way to stay on top of what your child has going on in World History class.
If you would like to link your email, please fill out a form at https://forms.gle/GHzPaxr7PiiRX6Wc6 . Below is a website that goes over Google Classroom, and answers plenty of questions.
Grades: Please check your child's grades weekly on JCampus. You can sign directly in to JCampus below, or use the link to open JCampus in a new screen. If you need your login information, please contact the front office at 225-388-0089.

Schedule a Conference: I am available for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday and Wednesday during my planning time from 10-11 am. I can meet either at the school, on the phone, or online to discuss student progress. If you are not available at those times, please email me at rwall1@ebrschools.org so we can discuss. To schedule a conference, please use the Google Calendar link below.
Parents: Below is a link to the Louisiana Believes website that has the Social Studies Scope and Sequence (rough timeline of units of study), Standards, and activities. Most of the activities on the website WILL NOT be done in class, but are great for supplemental activities at home. Feel free to email me any questions.
