My name is Ryland Wall. I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I went to middle school at McKinley Middle Magnet and high school at Tara High. I graduated from LSU Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Arts in History with a focus in Secondary Education in 2008. I currently hold a Level 2 Louisiana Teaching Certification for grades 3-12. I also have multiple online learning certifications (see below). I am married, and have 2 kids. My daughter Olivia recently graduated from LSU, and my son, Jordan will be a freshman at Baton Rouge High School. Both of my children were students at McKinley Middle Magnet, so I am not just a teacher here at McKinley, but also a former parent of students. International Travel

I am the Group Leader for International Travel here at McKinley Middle Magnet. I have brought students on trips to Greece, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, and in 2022 we are going back to Greece. This is a trip that students are very interested in, as we learn about Ancient Greece in 6th Grade. This is a chance of a lifetime for students to go on a trip to see historical locations in person. Boys Basketball Head Coach
Boys Basketball Head Coach
This will be my 8th year being the Head Coach of the Boys Basketball Team. Since I have been the Head Coach, Boys basketball has been District Champions 2 times, Parish Runner-Up 1 time, and Parish Champions 2 times. The Boys have played in tournaments across the state of Louisiana from Lafayette to Monroe. Tryouts are held in Mid-Late October each year.
