Favorite local restaurant: Valenti's (There are new owners, so I hope it's as good or maybe even better!)

Favorite movie: Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.

Favorite subject to teach: Math

Favorite childhood book: As a child anything Beverly Cleary or Judy Blume were my favorites! I really love Beverly Cleary's Ramona Quimby series books and Judy Blume's Fudge series books. 

Favorite thing to do outside school: I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, visiting and having adventures with my adult children, and hanging out with Mr. Francis and my dog Olive!

Favorite school supply: Flair Pens and Sharpies

Favorite joke: ~Why did the dog go to school? ~Because it wanted to learn new tricks! 

Interesting Info: ~The 2026-2026 school year will be my 19th year teaching 2nd grade. 

~I have lived in Dallas my whole life.  Some may think that is boring, but I believe it shows how special of a community it is!
