Expectations and Procedures
All About Me Pennants
Set up ISN (Interactive Student Notebook)
- numbers go on the bottom outside corners
- stop every 20 pages to double check your numbers
- odd numbers are always on the right & evens are always on the left
- the very middle pages (where the threading is) should be pages 100 & 101
Students should continue to number all the pages in his/her ISN (1-200). (by Wednesday)
Students & Parents should sign the ISN Agreement (by Wednesday).
Review place value chart labels (see link below for example).

- Title only... keep up on your own as we fill in the pages (use page extension)

Bellwork - 4th Grade Review Standards - please look at your child's bellwork to see what was highlighted.- these are skills that students should practice. The answer key can be found under Home Learning & Resources.
Sprint - Please review this skill with your child (see link under Home Learning & Resources)
M1 TA: Place Value Understanding (ISN Pages 6 & top of 7)
Use place values to relate adjacent base ten units from millions to thousandths.
*Prerequisite skills include understanding a place value chart and being able to accurately label a blank chart. Students will have a graded assignment on this skill next week - we will review in class as time allows, but please also review at home.

M1 TA: Place Value and Powers of 10 (ISN Pages: bottom of 7 & page 8)
Demonstrate understanding of the patterns in place values with digits are multiplied or divided by powers of 10.
*Prerequisite skills include:
• fluently & accurately multiplying whole numbers by 10, 100, and 1,000
• understanding a place value chart and being able to accurately label a blank chart. Students will have a graded assignment on this skill next week - we will review in class as time allows, but please also review at home.
