Assignment Corrections

Students who score a failing grade on most assessments* can complete a test correction to receive partial credit. All required steps must be completed as described below and on the form to be eligible for partial credit.

• Complete all parts of the Assignment Correction Request Form.

• Accurately correct ALL missed items on a sheet of notebook paper that is set up as described. Click here for an example.

• Turn in the fully completed Assignment Correction Form within 1 week of the date the assignment is sent home.

• If all required parts are received by the date due, partial credit will be reflected on the original grade based on the student reflection and accuracy of the corrections made.

* Some “assessments” may not qualify for a retake. For example, fluency checks will cover content on which students have already been taught and assessed. For these checks, students are given a fluency review sheet that specifically covers the skills assessed - sometimes using the exact same assessment items on the check.
