At Home Daily Learning Routine & Schedule

As you are setting up a routine at home, please take advantage of the GMSD Suggested Daily 5th Grade Learning Routine to help you create a routine. Keep in mind that it is a suggested schedule and you should feel free to apply it how it works best for your family!

Dogwood Weekly Choice Boards

We will provide a weekly choice board that has optional learning opportunities to work on throughout the week. Please use it for however it best works for your family.

Weekly Google Hangout Schedule

It was so much fun using Google Hangout the other day! We loved seeing everyone's face and hearing about how you have spent your time at home. We plan to continue these in smaller groups each week and will have some specific topics as well as fun activities for us to do during these meetings.

Expectations

We want these hangouts to be fun and allow everyone to participate. For that to happen, it is important that we all stick to the expectations listed below.

• Wait until the scheduled meeting time to join the meeting.

• Keep your microphone muted until it is your turn to talk.

• Do NOT use the chat feature unless one of your teachers ask you to type something.

• Listen to what your classmates are sharing and be ready to share your thoughts as well!

• At the end of the meeting, click the hang up button to exit the meeting.
