Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Favela and I will be teaching Spanish Level 1 at Sahuarita High School for the 2022 - 2023 School Year. I bring 18 years of teaching experience and enthusiasm to the classroom. Students and parents can expect a safe and comfortable learning environment, high expectations and structure - sprinkled with fun and innovative lessons that will expose students to the Spanish language and culture.

The past few years have been difficult school years for everyone in SUSD: parents, teachers, school faculty/staff, administrators and most importantly students. By working together, we have been able to overcome obstacles and challenges that we were faced with. I am hopeful that this year we will continue to move forward towards a more normal and great school year for everyone.
