There are opportunities to have all students participate through drawing, multiple choice or write in answers. A teacher is able to see in real time if students are understanding what is being taught.

This is a digital tool that can be used by a teacher to engage students in learning while progress monitoring. It is an excellent tool because it encourages students to want to answer correctly to earn points and win against their classmates! Competition always makes things more exciting for everyone involved. Kahoot! provides teachers with reports that show areas that could be improved upon, which students need additional support and overall how the lesson was retained. Students are also able to see what areas they could get more support with.
Kahoot! can be used to get students to seek feedback through participating. This is done when students answer a question they are able to see if they got a question right or wrong. Therefore they are given immediate feedback on how they are doing with particular topics being learned.
This is a digital engagement platform that enables a teacher to design presentations that include videos, quiz's, polls, drawing board, collaboration board and much more! This way of presenting a lesson allow students to interact with the media and it can be student-paced where they are in control of how they go through their lesson. This also has a google slide plug-in where Nearpod can be inserted into previously created presentations.
Nearpod can support standard based learning by having students routinely participating within a presentation that has been created to challenge thinking skills and promote higher learning. Students can be given situations, questions or problems that need to further explored through research.
