What I would say to a new teacher:

I would recommend to a new teacher that they be flexable and attend as many professional developments as possible. Continuing education, improving on skills and strategies is important for a 21st Century Educator. I would also say do not fear technology because it can provide students with so many opportunities to enhance learning as well as provide an engaging experience within the classroom. Being open to building relationships with staff, peers, students and parents is important to be a successful educator. Also remember, your students come from various backgrounds and you should make sure to incorporate this and their insterests within your instruction to beter connect to content.
