EdTech refers to educational technology resources that are available to educators and students. With the ever increasing tech world it is important to stay up-to-date with new and innovative learning sources to enhance each students specific needs. Knowing about the apps and assistive tech devices is only applicable if you know when and how to utilize them. Building an EdTech Toolkit is a must for any aspiring educator.

During my tenure at Sheridan College I have been introduced to many of these tools and devices. Each resource has a purpose in the classroom setting and beyond. I have accumulated several tools that can be customized for each student upon acceptance into the school environment. I look forward to implementing these options as a supplement to there existing learning material.

The following is an example of the knowledge base and skill-set I have developed:

Each of these subcategories contains multiple avenues to accomplish a certain task. The purpose of these tools is to offer students another alternative to expand their knowledge. In order to adhere to each students learning capacity, it is ideal for the student to be introduced to multiple means of engagement.
