Rajnesh Kumar

Qualifications: I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in both Accounting and Financial Management and Economics. After completing this degree I went on to study a Diploma of Teaching.

Experience: I have worked as a commerce teacher at MRGS for 18 years, teaching Accounting and Economics and Financial Education.

Why I teach my subject: I am passionate about education and encouraging young people to pursue a lifetime of learning. I'm dedicated to creating an engaging curriculum that covers all aspects of accounting, economics and financial education, so teenagers can gain the knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions.

Why I teach at MRGS: MRGS is an excellent education institution with great facilities. More than this, MRGS offers a warm, caring community where each individual is valued for who they are and the potential they have. MRGS follows an inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning where achievement information is used to identify students in need of support and are provided targeted support. The school has an ongoing focus on improving teacher effectiveness where staff are encouraged and supported to trial and use innovative practices in their classrooms. Having a desire to improve it, is what keeps me inspired.
